Keith Williams is a Professional Engineer registered in Nevada, USA and British Columbia, Canada with more than 30 years of professional experience, primarily related to the mining industry. His experience is diverse and extensive and includes several world class mining projects in the US and internationally. He has worked on more than 40 tailing storage facilities (TSFs) totaling more than 5 billion tons of storage and more than 20 heap leach projects with a geomembrane lined area totaling over 229 million square feet. Mr. Williams has worked on all aspects of these projects including scoping and trade-off studies, due diligence assessments, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, project management, construction management and oversight, assistance with operations and closure planning. Mr. Williams’s hands-on approach to his projects has given him excellent insight into virtually all facets from project inception through closure. He has participated in several third party and independent reviews of projects. In addition, he has completed audits and gap analysis to assist clients with becoming compliant with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
