Bio

Mr. Desreuisseau has over 35 years of experience in the field of environmental chemistry and is a staff scientist at NewFields Environmental Practice, LLC in Rockland, Massachusetts.  His background includes detailed knowledge of the processing of Environmental samples from field sampling through the final reporting of data.  He has processed thousands of Environmental samples throughout various roles as laboratory technician, data analyst, quality control manager, project manager and database/LIMS management.  He has over 20 years of experience in gas chromatography and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis as well as data systems management.   Mr. Desreuisseau also has over 10 years of experience performing detailed validation and quality control checks of Environmental data.  He is particularly skilled in database design and maintenance specifically relating to the proper handling of environmental data.  He is also highly skilled at modifying MS Office products via Visual Basic Programming in order to efficiently move data from the database environment into formats easily handled by end users as well as from the end user back into the database format.  He has also designed procedures to validate electronic data deliverables (EDDs) as they are submitted in order to efficiently check for errors and/or omissions.  Mr Desreuisseau has also designed and implemented project specific information management systems in order to more efficiently handle large volume data with efficiency and minimum error.  
In his current role he provides database design, support and programming for multiple projects.
Prior to joining Newfields Mr. Desreuisseau was a Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute.
