Bio

Ms. Pfister has 16 years of experience with a wide range of domestic and international natural resource planning and permitting projects, including preparation of various environmental and social impact assessments, stakeholder involvement plans, environmental management plans, and environmental design criteria. She has solid experience in permitting large-scale projects, including efforts to finalize the Montana Major Facilities Siting Act application and all supporting permits for a 135-mile transmission line in Montana. Ms. Pfister has also managed permitting and compliance efforts for a range of public agencies. Previous agency-based experience included overseeing two countywide Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) projects as a Cooperating Technical Partner with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and overseeing the production of New Hampshire’s Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) for submittal to the National Park Service. She has an M.S. in Resource Administration and Management and a B.S. in Economics & Environmental Studies.
