Ms. Rivard began her career as a bench chemist working for a national environmental laboratory.  She has 30 years of experience specializing in analytical and technical analyses of organic and inorganic data and the QA/QC of those analyses.  Analytical and technical analyses of organic and inorganic data includes EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) and SW-846 methodologies; data validation, management, and reporting for federal, state, and industrial clients; analytical laboratory procurement, contracting, coordination, and auditing; decision analysis; and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis.  Ms. Rivard strengths encompass preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), including the new Uniform Federal Policy for Quality Assurance Project Plans (UFP-QAPP) required for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Department of Defense (DOD) sites.   Ms. Rivard has demonstrated strong communication skills and familiarity with field investigative techniques and protocols, has broad experience in CERCLA and RCRA characterization, remediation, and risk assessments, and is currently involved in several Superfund and RCRA sites across the U.S.  Ms. Rivard also serves as the Atlanta POD Health and Safety Coordinator.
