Diogo Gaspar, Ph.D.

Diogo is an Environmental Geologist and GIS Engineer with NewFields UK with over 15 years of experience in environmental characterization and analysis for Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental management in projects in Europe, USA and Brazil. His expertise is in brownfield regeneration, environmental management, project management, environmental litigation and, GIS data processing and analysis. Additional experience includes stratigraphy, structural geology and tectonics applied to Oil & Gas exploration.

Diogo has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, and has worked on a wide range of projects within the UK including contaminated land remediation projects and utility and infrastructure projects.

Diogo is a Portuguese native and he is a Doctor of Philosophy in Sedimentary Basin Analysis with a Master’s in Geodynamics and licentiate’s degree in Geology and is fluent in English and Portuguese and has working proficiency French and Spanish.
