Mr. Furtado is an agricultural and environmental engineer with his M.S. in forest resources. He earned his undergraduate degree with a double major in agricultural and environmental engineering. He is currently assisting on a wide variety of environmental projects in the United States and Brazil. His principal work includes analysis, management, remediation, and closure of pesticide manufacturing facilities and mining sites. Mr. Furtado is proficient in using environmental databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for statistical analysis, decision analysis, and project management. He is also experienced in coordinating field work for environmental investigations.
Mr. Furtado holds an M.S. from the University of Georgia and a B.S. from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (Brasil)
