Jeffrey Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Johnson is a recognized expert in groundwater flow and contaminant transport and fate. He has over 30 years of professional experience in natural resource assessment, site characterization, remedial operations, and technical analyses. He has extensive technical skills in groundwater flow, contaminant transport, and fate of both dissolved and free-phase plumes. For the past 10 years, he has worked extensively in the characterization and remediation of light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) and dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) sites. Dr. Johnson is experienced in developing characterization programs to delineate natural hydrocarbon sources, such as coal bed methane and oil seeps from anthropogenic releases. He is experienced in computer applications including analytical and numerical models, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and 3D visual imagery. He has supported numerous technical organizations, committees, and groups including American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and Remediation Technologies Development Forum (RTDF). He holds a Ph.D. in geology and is an AIPG Certified and registered Professional Geologist.
