Remote Sensing and GIS Analyst
Mr. Robinson is a Remote Sensing Specialist and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst with NewFields. He holds a B.A. in Geography from Georgia State University. Mr. Robinson has over 29 years of experience in mapping, satellite image processing, and GIS. His technical proficiencies include remote sensing analysis, GIS database construction and project management and documentation at numerous scales and project sizes, ranging from very small sites to multi-state projects involving agriculture, forestry, general landcover, and other disciplines in numerous types of landscapes. These projects have involved the use of Landsat and high resolution satellite imagery, aerial photography, aerial scanner imagery, aerial videography, and elevation models. Additionally, he is experienced in ERDAS Imagine remote sensing, Definiens eCognition and ArcMap GIS software, graphic art, and web page design and construction.
