Mr. Smith is an experienced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyst and model developer with NewFields. Mr. Smith holds a MS in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Redlands and has been working in the field for the past 5 years. He has gained relevant experience through course work, research projects, and internships while attending college and during the past 18 months as one of the main GIS Analysts at NewFields. Mr. Smith has a thorough understanding of the data models and data structures used within Geographic Information Systems enabling management of complex spatial environments and application of spatial processes for analysis and visualization. His experience includes spatial analysis and analysis automation, Web Mapping application development, database modeling and management, data interoperability and integration, as well as cartography and visualization.
